Blue Tarp School Day

Inspired by a book Armando and the Blue Tarp School, kindergarten students here at Shorewood worked hard to raise money for less advantaged students in other countries to given them the opportunity to go to school. They tripled their fundraising goal of $200 through a GoFundMe account, learned about the students in other countries, wrote scripts and filmed short videos that they then emailed to their families. Yesterday, on the last day of school, they spent part of their day as the children do at the Blue Tarp Schools. Wow!
